  1. FTPMon 1.0 for OS/2

  3. DESCRIPTION

  5. I wrote FTPMon so that I could scan the incoming directory of an
  6. anonymous FTP site and not have to look through a lot of old files
  7. to see what was new.  FTPMon maintains a list of all the files in the
  8. incoming directory of a site, but displays only those that you have
  9. not seen previously.  Once you see a file in the list, you can download
  10. it, view it, or tag it as boring.  Downloaded and boring files are
  11. removed from the list (but not, of course, the FTP site), and don't
  12. appear there again.  FTPMon will refresh the list once an hour, or at
  13. the request of the user.

  48. INSTALLATION AND UNINSTALLATION
  49. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
  50. FIRST INSTALL RXFTP!
  51. FTPMon requires RXFTP to run.  RXFTP is a DLL available from (among
  52. other places) ftp://software.watson.ibm.com/pub/os2/ews/rxftp.zip.

  54. To install the program, copy all the files to the desired run directory
  55. and run the install.cmd script.  The script will create a program object
  56. for FTPMon on the OS/2 desktop.

  58. To uninstall the program, delete FTPMON.EXE, FTPMON.INI, any site
  59. files you created, and the FTP Monitor program object.

  62. SHAREWARE NOTICE / LICENSING INFO

  64. FTPMon is a shareware program.  This version is not disabled in
  65. any way and has no nag screens, but you should still register the
  66. program if you intend to use it on a regular basis.  The cost of
  67. registration is $10 USD and can be sent to the address below.
